Ragnarr Delvers vs Kamino Kinetics
The Kaminos face off against the Delvers with the Delvers slamming Kamino number 2 Zaaklu getting an early trip to the Medbay for a punishing start. The Delvers surge forward with the ball with number 7, Captain Thorgan Ironsword scoring the opening point for the Delvers.
The Kaminos defence tightens up for the inevitable Dwarven assault, but the Kaminos also go on the attack with V'Zaxore grabbing the ball and scoring a 4 pointer.
The celebration is short lived for the Number 1 as Gimgram Stonemantle clobbers scorer V'Zaxore mid celebration sending him off for recuperation with a broken jaw and a bruised ego.
K'Rifor number 5 for the Kaminos gets knocked down as the Dwarfs lumber up the pitch at an almsost walking pace comapred the nimble Judwans, Torman Brightblade goes for a strike but misses, he slams his fist against the pitch in frustration as the ball scatters.
The Kaminos need to get upfield fast and Ne'Flav the new signing from Wolf 359 launches an audacious 11 hex pass upfield K'Rifor who isn't ready and the ball fumbles. Ne'Flav says something in Judwan, but it's unclear what it means.
Branium Snowaxe, number 4 for the Delvers, clothesline's K'Rifor as he argues with Ne'Flav and is unconciou as he leaves the pitch to recover by grav-stretcher. The Dwarfs consolidate their lines.
The next few rushes pass with little to engage the fans as both teams jockey for positions and the upper hand, the Delvers score a one pointer but it's a little unfocused out there.
But the Kaminos exlode with speed as number 7, Nu'Uavoo weaves through the defence to score a point for the Kaminos.
The Dwarfs launch a series of devestating Slams agains the pacifist Judwans but they dodge, weave and evade with skill, the Dwarfs are showing their lack of pace and their rage as Branium Snowaxe fumbles a pick up.
The game ends early with a landslide as Zaaklu scoops up the ball for an easy 4 point score, the Dwarf defence nowhere to be seen.
Summary
The Dwarfs power and strength were not enough agaist the speed and skill of the Judwans who pick up their first win.
There is rumours of a rule change in the works for Judwan's and the bonus scores, will it change the balance in the future?
