Bio

The Orx industrial moon of Ba'al literally means 'giant pile of shit' and that is literally what the moon of Ba'al is, a giant waste processing center. Orx are not too fussed about smells and dirt so they take everybody else's garbage and sort through it, they even eat some of it, reprocessing it into Grubb(tm) to feed to their offspring during their early years.

Ba'al is not unique, there are hundreds of similar facilities throughout the corporation and millions of Orx spend their day sorting through shiploads of trash at huge processing centres and millions more work semi-illegally sorting through the piles of trash before it gets to the processing centre for any valuable pieces of discarded tech.

And that's how the Ba'al Moon Smackers got started, a group of Orx found an almost complete Dreadball armor set and ball amongst the scrap and began playing it during their breaks. Over time this amateur team joined their mother planet's lower leagues and through sheer grit, determination and bad tempered nature, began to climb the leagues.

The Ba'al Moon Smackers are not a technically gifted team, in fact their general tactic is to incapacitate the opponent's team until only one or two are left so they can score unimpeded. This is how they won the playoff into the Western Spiral Arm Premier Division (WSAPD), with two rushes left and only one player left on the pitch, the lone jack of the Nostromo 49ers found himself sat on by legendary veteran guard [placeholder] and unable to move.

Rules have now been updated to prevent this tactic and now in the upper echelons of the WSAPD the Ba'al Moon Smackers have hired new coaching team to try and add some finesse to their game, not to mention sponsorship by a well-known breath mint manufacturer.
