New Season Title Odds

Time to take a look at who the fans are putting their Galactic Credits on to win the Dean Cain Memorial Troopy and who has no hope in hell with your resident Forge Father betting expert STERNWAY ION:

Atletico Tronkers                 1/10.  Joint favorites to win. Can they go one better this year and win it?
Ceres Convict Cadre           1/10.  Joint favorites to win. Dangerous and unruly opponents. Mega Guards!
Mega City Eagles                2/13.  Tough call for the defending champions to retain the title
Real Tronkers                       1/5.   Another human team expected to do well. Should make play offs
Clan Stormfang                    2/9.   Expected to revert to type, but surprised a few people last year
ICS Stalkers                          1/4.   Alliance team with new owners, finally approved to join. Interesting mix
Kamino Kinetics                  Evens. A tough world out there with zero violence mentality, but great ball handling
Turion City Terrors              Evens. In the running for so long last year. These guys need to focus
Yun-Yuuzhan Warriors        10/1.  Dirty tricks all round, But a few punters are backing them
Ragnarr Delvers                    12/1.  Powerfull but slow Dwarfs. If they get it right they are dangerous
Ravager County                   25/1.  Untested in battle. But on paper these girls can kick some butt
Atlantean Tridents               30/1.  Expected to make waves in the galaxies favorite sport... next year
Klendathu Park Rangers     45/1.  Completely unknown team from the Outer Rim. Keep eye on....
The All-Stars                         50/1.  Get them organised and you've got a strong team
The Philosophers                   75/1.  Might be a push over. Risky bet, but strangers things have happened
Ba'al Moon Smackers          100/1. Greenskin teams tend to make an impact.... only on opponents
Daggon Moon Slammers 100/1. Another Greenskin team. Another to struggle to rack up points
Thunder Brokkrs                  200/1. Insanely strong. But very low. All depends on who they draw...
Clan Rapidclaw                    500/1. If only these Veer'Myn could follow the lead of their brethren
Endorian Forest United 700/1. A miracle of epic proportions

Champions Insight

So, with the new and improved (and not to say expanded!) league at the preseason stage, let's take a look at what current Champions the Mega City Eagles can expect in terms of a title challenge:

The Eagles themselves had an excellent unbeaten season and the powerful Judges in the Jack roles really helped them cross the line as winners against the Atletico Tronkers

However, the new franchises coming in this season provide a meater proposal with Asterian and Zzor teams entering the fray amongst others

Chief Justice expects a disciplined approach from the Eagles in their Championship defence and perhaps the most eagerly anticipated potential match up is Mega City Eagles vs Ceres Convict Cadres. Some grudges there for sure!

All in all, this season provides a tough challenge for the reigning champs
