The Mega City Eagles face off against the Daggon Moon Slammers. This is the first time the Mega City Eagles have played in the Eastern Spiral Arm and they look a mean outfit in their 'judges' uniform kit.
The Eagles get off to a good start by grabbing the ball and powering into the Daggon strike zone but they fumble the score.
The Daggon Moon Slammers use their muscle and a succession of slams take two of the Eagles off the pitch for a period of convalescence and one to the ground. Eagles Judges Diablo, Alvarez and Kruger take the assault. Daggon Sparkgrubber grabs the ball.
The Eagles don't take kindly to being pushed around and Lopez steals the ball while Eagles Beeny slams Sparkbolt to the floor leaving the way for Lopez to score a four pointer.
The Orx pour forward with Sparkbolt grabbing the ball and flinging it up to Sparkgrubber but they've left their half totally undefended.
The Eagles counter and pummel Sparkgrubber but he stands his ground for multiple slams and keeps hold of the ball.
The Orx continue to use their strength with captain Stonefury taking lumps out of Kruger. Orx number 1 Rockhammer snaps the neck of Eagles Captain Judge Hunter in a brutal slam. Sparkgrubber throws for a 2 pointer but misses. The Orx dominate the physical game, but they can't capitalize on their strength.
The Eagles regroup, with Lopez evading Clawbreath and running back into their own half. Vasquez grabs the ball and throws it up field to Beeny who fumbles the catch.
Rockhammer continues his onslaught against the Eagles, planting the face of Vienna into the neodurium pitch. Stonefury also gets in on the action, taking out the legs of Kruger. Sparkgrubber, who has been the main ball player for the Daggon's, grabs the ball and scores a 4 pointer. Finally the Daggon's take advantage of their physical assaults.
The Eagles immediately respond with Judge Lopez taking charge running up the pitch and scoring 2.
The Daggon's grab the relaunched ball, Leafpinch throws to Sparkbolt who fumbles the ball.
Alvarez blindsides the imposing Rockhammer and takes him out allowing Lopez to grab the ball who throws it up field to Diablo.
Warcrusher pummels Lopez and puts them out of the match and grabs the ball but can't make the pass to Sparkbolt who fumbles again.
The Eagles go into defense and Lopez grabs the ball and throws it downfield into the head of Daggon Captain Stonefury who is knocked out for the rest of the game.
The Daggons go for one last attempt but Leafpinch fumbles the pickup and it's game over.
Summary
The Daggon Moon Slammers used their physical strength to bully the Mega City Eagles but the Judges have had far worse to deal with than Orx guards and they tactical skills paid off resulting in a narrow win.
