The Delvers started with a high offensive and defensive line, hoping to offset their speed disadvantage but the Daggon Slammers broke through the line with some well place slams allowing number 5 Jadaiek Sparkbolt to run through the gap to try for an early score, but he missed.

The Delvers grab the ball and number 4 Branium Snowaxe hurls it up pitch to number 8 Torman Brightblade but is unable to make any headway.  Coming back strong on the offensive the Daggon Slammers put Delver 8 on the floor and Delver 1 off the pitch for short medical visit.  But they aren’t able to capitalise and end up fumbling the ball pickup.

The Delvers grab the ball and return a slam on Daggon number 2 Stonefury putting him out for 2 rushes for treatment.  It’s tit for tat and an ugly confrontation.
Slammer, Jigeez Sparkgrubber steals the ball from Branium Snowaxe but is slammed by Krutuk Rockhammer and the ball is picked up by Sparkbolt who tries to make headway, but the ball is stolen by Delver Joro Deepstone.

Heading back towards the Daggon strike zones, Deepstone is smashed by Krutuk Rockhammer and carried off the pitch.  Branium Snowaxe grabs the ball, throws it to Ragnarr Captain Ironswrod who manages a one point Strike.

The game is bogged down in midfield mediocrity as the Delver and the Slammers try to make headway.  Godiro Warcrusher delivers a crunching tackle on Torman Brightblade who is out for the game.

The game ends on two fumbles from each team.  The game had a feeling of a dead rubber with neither team seeming up for it as their league seasons are dwindling to mid-table obscurity.
