Bio

The Real Tronkers and the Atletico Tronkers were originally the same team, co-owned by local organised crime bosses Jako Demingo and Kara Santini. The long established Demingo-Santini crime syndicate was the defacto ruler of the local system and it was said that not even a parking ticket was issued with the crime family taking a cut of it.

The Tronkers were the showpiece of the Demingo-Santini organisation, a sprawling plastisteel and rockcrete stadium towered above the rest of the city and made it clear who was in charge. The team played for Demingo and Santini, corruption was rife due to a string of betting scandals and the team was in danger of kicked out of the DIFA league entirely. At home, the fan backlash spilled over in the streets as Demingo and Santini argued about the future of the team.

This soon descended into civil war between the two co-owners and a massive struggling for power ensued. During this time the team began to fracture with the coaching and playing staff loyal to Demingo and Santini began to take sides and this led to a formal separation of the two teams.

Over time Demingo and Santini resolved their differences both on the street and on the pitch by splitting their criminal endeavors into distinct operations, this included a separation of the Tronkers, with Demingo owning the Real Tronkers and Santini owning Atletico. The rivalry is fierce and often bitter, but it's safer for all for it to be on the pitch than on the streets.
