Rapidclaw started poorly with a fumble that we have come to expect from some of the less skllled team like Veer-myn and the Zees.  The Tronkers take immediate action with Kurt ‘The King’ Kaan powering through the Rapidclaw lines and spotting an opening left by Zrosqhal Skygrip who is off his line to score an opening 4 pointer.
Clan Rapidclaw started the game winless at 0-3 and they looked up for the game from the start with the team pumped and setup for an offensive game with their guards starting up front ready to bring the hurt to the Real Tronkers 2-3 going into the match and outside contenders for the title and a place in the Dean Cain Memorial Trophy final.  But a win would have opened the league up.

The number 1 for Rapidclaw, Krutuk Rockhammer, goes berserk and starts slamming the Tronkers putting number six Ford Storm and number Alex ‘Dangerman’ Duke out of play to receive treatment.  Zhol Steeltail, the number 5 for Rapidclaw brings things back to level with a 4 point score.

Kurt Kaan powers up the pitch after the relaunch and scores yet another 4 pointer as Zrosqhal Skygrip is out of position again, what is he doing.  It’s fast and furious, back and forth in the opening rushes.

Rapidclaw finally get some organisation and Skygrip gets on his lines.  Rockhammer continues his one rat crusade putting out Tronker number 5 Max Steel off the pitch to join his colleagues.  Chrulk Duskcutter grabs the ball and heads into the corner to defend their possession.

The Tronkers bring their guards into play and with both Danny Hunter and Rip Harrison trying to get Duskcutter to relinquish possession, he finally does and ends up with a broken face for his troubles and staggers off the pitch for treatmen.  Don ‘The Rock’ Power scoops the ball up for the Tronkers.

The Rapidclaw Captain Skullbreaker shows his name’s true meaning as he crunches Kurt Kaan off the pitch to try and reduce the Tronkers threat.  With only 3 players left on the pitch the Tronkers look like their in real trouble.  Steeltail grabs the ball for Rapidclaw but misses an undefended 4 point strike hex.

Ford Storm runs up the pitch to put Rapidclaw under pressure and catches an inaccurate pass.  The Rapidclaw attempt to overwhelm but Storm resists multiple steal attempts.

Number 2 Throl Barbedspire gets slammed by his numbersake Rip Harrison, sending him off the pitch.  Ford Storm is unable to score and fumbles the ball.

Rapidclaw sensing time is running out grabs the ball and tries for a 2 point score but number 3 Skygrip misses.

Alex ‘Dangerman’ Duke shows how he got his name but grabbing the ball and running the length of the pitch to score 2 points, it’s an amazing strike and puts the Tronkers in a commanding position, Rapidclaw cannot win now, they try for a 4 pointer to reduce the damage but Qhruel Firestriker misses, the fight has gone out of the Clan.

Real Tronkers showboat on their last rush with Kurt Kaan getting the ball, throwing it to the Dangerman who scores 4 points for a white wash win.

Summary

The game was end to end from the start with Rapidclaw’s tactics to hurt and contain the Tronkers working for the most part, but they left gaps and the strike force of the Tronkers was too much for the Clan.  All in all the result is unfair to Rapidclaw who fought claw and fang every step of the way.
The win and the strikes put Real Tronkers in the mix for the title of the Easter division.
